Joey Kramer's wife Linda dies at 55

The 13-year-old wife of Joey Kramer passed away. Hewlett-former Packard’s contract administrator Linda Kramer, who was 55 years old, passed away on June 22. The depressing news was confirmed by the drummer for Aerosmith.

Although the cause of death has not yet been disclosed, Linda was characterized in an obituary acquired by PEOPLE on Friday, July 1 as having “a wicked, naughty sense of humor,” “a penchant for driving fast automobiles,” and a love of Hallmark Christmas movies. She was also claimed to have had a strong affinity for her dogs, Lucy and Cosmo, as well as her friends and family.

In October 2009, Joey and Linda got married, with the musician referring to her as his “love of his life.” “Linda loved Joey sincerely and his well-being and happiness were her main priorities,” said her obituary. Her spouse, parents, three sisters, stepbrothers, stepson Jesse, and nieces and nephews are all still alive. She was also survived by her husband.

Joey revealed in March that he will not be performing with Aerosmith when their “Deuces Are Wild” residency resumed in the summer in Las Vegas. He claimed at the time that he was taking a “temporary leave of absence” due to family matters. When band frontman Steven Tyler entered rehab in May after experiencing a relapse in his sobriety following recent foot surgery, the performances were postponed.

When Tyler heard of Linda’s passing, he was reportedly doing “amazingly well” after finishing a 30-day rehab stay for his addiction. According to family sources who spoke to TMZ on Friday, the rock star checked himself out of a rehabilitation center and is reportedly clean and sober. Insiders also stated the performer is at a “healthy weight.”

On September 4, Aerosmith will perform at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, Maine.
